...is a bit of an omnivore, both as a reader and a writer. When it comes to romance, I like it all, from the corset and horse carriage era, to these wacky, modern times, to aliens and shifters and witches, oh my.

I live in colorful Colorado and love to hike and garden and nap. I also love to travel but hate flying so mostly drive around the amazing U.S. when I vacation. I have a lot of miles under me. When I actually get off my tuckus to work, I write fun and sexy small-town romances and military romances as Allyson Charles.

As Alyson Chase, I write naughty historicals set in the Regency period, though I have plans to expand to different eras.

And every other romance I want to write is under the name A. Caprice. From witch academy romance to a forthcoming shifter series, when I want to dive into paranormal worlds, this is my pen name.

I used to be an attorney, but happily ditched those suits and now work in my pajamas writing about men’s briefs instead of legal briefs.
